Christmas is Coming

Christmas has come incredibly fast this year! It seemed like yesterday we were pigging-out at the Thanksgiving Feast and now, Christmas is right around the corner. We have enjoyed doing many of our family traditions including; decorating a real tree, singing Christmas carols, decorating the exterior and interior of the house (John went CRAZY this year - but we absolutely love it), and many, many other things. This Sunday, we will be leaving for Idaho Falls and are extremely excited to be celebrating Christmas with our family up there, (its going to be very challenging trying to fit all of the presents plus six people's luggage into our mini van.....uh-oh).

I couldn't resist posting this. I think it is hillarious! Unfortunately, for Ivan, only 1 baby was born. Sophia Renae was born last Saturday morning. Sophia is going to be Ashtyn's first bestest friend!

What a Weekend!!

We had a great weekend. We had our 8 year old son Caden baptised and our new baby girl Ashtyn blessed both by their Grandpa. My favorite sister, Michelle, and her husband, my parents, and Grandparents all came for the occasion. It was a lot of fun. We feel so blessed to have such a great family and great group of supportive friends. Thanks to everyone for coming!

Barely 1 week old and she was a great sport about getting her pictures taken! We only had 1 picture where she started to cry. We think she is so cute!!!

Breckenridge on the 4th of July

One last vacation before the baby was born. It was a lot of fun but traveling now will be a little different for our family.

Life is good and crazy!

On Wednesday, August 6th Ashtyn was born. She weighed 7 pounds 20 inches long. She has lots of hair and is really cute. She is loved by everyone in our family! My parents came to visit for over a week and were a huge help to us. Now we are getting help from Michelle, Lynn and Nathan.



Now school has started for our oldest three and our lives are a little busy!! We are excited to have Ashtyn in our family!!
